Xiaomi is preparing to gear up in the automobile world. The company, which made a big impact all over the world with its electric vehicle named SU7, is now allegedly working on a mid-level SUV. The Xiaomi MX11 SUV model is rumored to be introduced in the coming months.
Xiaomi MX11 SUV may debut in October 2024
According to Chinese media reports, Xiaomi will hold a major launch event at the end of October to unveil its second electric SUV. In addition to new smartphones, tablets and wearables, information about the car is expected to be given at the event.
The tech giant has long been working on a new electric SUV codenamed MX11. Although the vehicle itself will not be released until 2025, it will be officially shown for the first time at the event.
It should be reminded that the details about the MX11 SUV are currently unclear. However, leaked photos have revealed that it will carry inspirations from luxury vehicles such as Ferrari Purosangue and will have a sporty design.
According to Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun, similar to the SU7, the MX11 will meet users at affordable prices. It should be noted that SU7 pricing starts at 30 thousand dollars. We can expect the MX11 to be around 25-30 thousand dollars.
It seems possible that the MX11 will be powered by an 800V electric motor and support advanced autonomous technology with LIDAR sensors. More details are expected to be announced at the launch event in October.
